The Extra Life Guild will be hosting a variety of fun games for the patients (current and past) to enjoy. The goal is to provide the patients a mini-convention like experience. More details to come.
WV PopCon is an annual convnention that takes place annually in Morgantown, WV; this year it is occurring during the August 23-24, 2024 weekend.
1D4Con is a staple gaming convention for West Virginia's eastern panhandle; it took place on March 28-30, 2025. It's solid focus on Tabletop Roleplay Games with some board game and miniature game is always a welcome experience. James and his staff are welcoming and spend a lot of time the year leading up to each event planning and doing everything possible to make the convention a huge success. This year it was located in Charles Town, WV at the Clarion Inn Harpers Ferry-Charles Town, which is the third year at this location. The ticket sales sustain the convention and help pay for the venue while the many raffles it hosts is always dedicated to charity. This year (and last year) it was split 50/50 between Extra Life and supporting a Convention regular who has fallen on hard times.
The raffles raised almost $2,500. There were additional donations made directly to Extra Life in the board game room.
