Regardless how we found Extra Life, how much we have raised, or for how long, we have all positively impacted the quality of children’s lives who have had to visit our local Children’s Hospital.
We have helped purchase…
…Cameras for the NICU allowing families (and friends) to see their newborns, who weren’t quite ready to head home yet…
…Portable Ultra Sound Machines that have helped hospital staff provide shots and IVs more accurately when dealing with such tiny veins, and hopefully easing some of the fears children have of needles.
…DVD/Blu-ray and Game checkout kiosk (like a Redbox) allow children to check out movies and games to enjoy during their stay.
And so much more!
Anytime gamers across the state can play games with these children and families, we do. Sometimes it is by visiting the hospital and playing games with them directly or by inviting them over to local event.
